Eric earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from DePaul University, where he also played hockey, demonstrating his passion for the sport and understanding of athletic performance. Currently, Eric is furthering his expertise by pursuing a master's degree in Strength and Conditioning through Concordia University. His commitment to education and personal development underscores his drive to provide the best training and guidance to his athletes.
Since moving from St. Louis to Chicago in 2019, Eric has made significant strides in his coaching career. He currently trains hockey players at GVN Performance, where he applies his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to help athletes reach their full potential. His previous roles at Goodman Elite Training and interning at Bracey Performance have equipped him with a diverse set of skills and insights into advanced training methodologies.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Eric is an avid competitor in various endurance and fitness challenges. He has a keen interest in running marathons and regularly participates in Hyrox and Spartan races, pushing his physical limits and embracing new athletic challenges. His experiences in these competitions not only fuel his personal passion for fitness but also enrich his coaching techniques, as he incorporates diverse training strategies and mental toughness into his programs. Eric is excited to share his blend of education, practical experience, and passion for fitness with the community at Ethos.
