COACH MOLLY

“Show up and control what you can control.”

Molly has been coaching at Ethos since August of 2019. Her experience in the private fitness sector “was born and will die at Ethos.” As a former D1 soccer player, she brings a competitive element to our group training program. Purposeful yet intense strength training is what sets her coaching apart from others.

Molly grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago & then journeyed up to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to study Exercise Physiology and continue her soccer career. Her final semester of college, she shipped off to Stanford University to be part of their Strength & Conditioning Spring Internship and was invited back as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach after graduation and sitting for her NSCA-CSCS Exam. She spent a total of two years out there and fell for the interaction and inspiration between coach and athlete. Despite her love for the California sun, she ended up coming back to Chicago to enroll in Northwestern's Masters in Sports Administration program.

Molly's emphasis on form correction and injury prevention in the weight room is paramount. Navigating her own ACL injuries, she understands the rehabilitation domain, load management and gradual return to function. She's the biggest advocate for doing hard things at any age.

Molly’s love for Ethos stems from the value that coaches and clients place on science-backed programming and the energy that no one takes themselves too seriously. She feels the perfect level of comfort and competition in one room. To Molly, “the people are what make Ethos, Ethos.”

“My fitness and wellness mantra is DO BOTH. I whole-heartedly believe that you can have it all. Grind in the gym, stay out too late. Athleisure, heels. Any polarizing version of your life you can have if you want it.”
