COACH NEVA
“Consistency over perfection.”
Neva’s passion for fitness and how the body moves started early, with a lifelong background in all-star cheerleading and collegiate cheerleading at the University of Illinois. Her relationship with the weight room started at U of I, where training alongside her cheer team sparked a love for how incredible it felt to be strong physically and mentally.
She started coaching group classes in 2018 and became NASM certified the following year. Her training mission has always been simple: help everyone, especially women, feel comfortable and confident under a barbell. In 2021, she completed her PROnatal Pre/Postnatal Performance Training Specialist certification and has been passionate about this population ever since. As a mom herself to a busy toddler, she brings both the credentials and the lived experience to every session.
To Neva, fitness is all about adding things to your life: confidence, strength, years (!!), mobility, and freedom. The industry spends too much time on what to lose (pounds, inches, foods you love) and not enough on what you gain. Her approach is grounded in realistic fitness, meaning things that are actually achievable for busy people balancing full lives. A full-time marketing tech sales professional, part-time trainer, and around the clock mom, she lives what she teaches. Whatever your goals are in your current season of life, Neva would love to be your coach and personal cheerleader!
