ACUPUNCTURE + TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical system that is over 2,000 years old, indigenous to East Asia. A primary modality of TCM is acupuncture, which uses hair-thin needles used to direct blood flow and restore balance within the body. Acupuncture is known to help reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, regulate hormones, process emotions and balance the nervous system, and support the body’s innate healing abilities. Complementary modalities of TCM may be offered, such as gua sha, fire cupping, tui na, moxibustion, and dietary and herbal medicine prescriptions. Each patient’s treatment is tailored to their individual needs. The clinician will work alongside the patient to create a treatment plan that aims to both resolve symptoms and improve the patient's overall condition.
